Not all birthdays look the same
A 21st and a 70th should not share a colour palette, and neither should your loud friend and your quiet one. That is the whole argument for a custom birthday bouquet. It looks like you actually know them, because you told us about them and we listened.
Tell us the age, the vibe and anything they love or hate. Garden-mad mums get garden-style. Minimalists get single-variety bunches. The friend who owns three hot-pink blazers gets the hot-pink bouquet. It is not complicated, but it works.

Same-day if it is before noon, or lock the date weeks ahead and forget it.

The actual bouquet before it leaves, check it is right for them.
Delivery day
Doorstep handoff with a photo on arrival if it is a surprise drop.

Birthday orders are the fun end of the bench, the briefs range from "make it look like her garden" to "as orange as physically possible". Ren takes the sentimental ones, Mags takes the loud ones.
Either way the card is handwritten, the photo is real, and the person gets flowers that look chosen rather than clicked.
