Privacy policy,
written to be read
This privacy policy covers what EntryChoiceWave collects when you order flowers or browse the site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version
We collect the details needed to make and deliver your bouquet (name, contact, address, order notes) plus some ordinary website analytics. We don't sell data, we don't do creepy tracking, and you can ask us to delete what we hold at any time. The fuller version is below, still in plain English.
Quick answers
Want your data corrected, exported or deleted? Email entrychoicewave@gmail.com, we action requests within 30 days.
Contact the studioWhat we collect
When you order or enquire, we collect the details the job actually needs:
- Your name and how to reach you (phone, email)
- Recipient name and delivery address where provided
- Order details: occasion, card message, brief notes
- Payment confirmation (processed by our payment provider; we never see card numbers)
Analytics
The site also records standard analytics (pages visited, rough location, device type) so we know which pages people read. Nothing identifies you personally.
What we do with it
Order details exist to get flowers from our bench to the right doorstep. Concretely, that means we use your information to:
- Contact you about the order, including the bench photo
- Deliver to the recipient (their details go on the box, nothing more)
- Invoice and keep basic tax records as NZ law requires
- Answer questions if something goes wrong with the order
What we don't do: sell or rent lists, add recipients to marketing lists without consent, or share briefs with anyone outside the studio and the driver.

Storage and sharing
Order records live on studio systems and with the small set of providers we actually need. The payment processor, the email service, and the form that lands your enquiry. Each handles data under their own privacy obligations.
We keep order records for as long as NZ tax law requires (currently seven years for transaction records), then they're cleared. Enquiry emails that never became orders are cleaned out periodically rather than kept forever.
Who sees it
Ren, Mags and Dave. That's the list. Payment provider and email platform get only what they need to function.
Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Email entrychoicewave@gmail.com with the request and we'll action it, usually much faster than the 30-day legal window.
If you're contacting from the EU or UK, broader GDPR rights apply too, see the legal page for how we handle those.
Quick request
Subject line "privacy request" gets it straight to Ren. Include what you need and the email you ordered with.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data (a new tool, a new process) this page gets updated and the review date at the top changes. We'll never quietly make the policy worse; anything material gets flagged on this page for a while before it takes effect.
Behind the policy pages
A real studio, not a faceless site. The people below answer these pages' questions.

Questions about our privacy approach?
Policies are easier to discuss than to decode. Ring the studio, send an email, or use the contacts form. Ren or Mags will sort it.
