The main piece deserves the most care
A casket spray or family tribute is the piece everyone sees. It should carry the person inside it. We sit down with the family (in person or by phone), ask who they were and what mattered to them, and build from there: a gardener gets garden flowers, a farmer gets the land's palette, a quiet person gets something quiet.
We work directly with Oamaru's funeral homes on timing and placement, so nothing lands on the family to organise. On the day, the tribute arrives early, is placed properly, and gets photographed for family who couldn't attend.

Family tributes are Ren's work alone. The conversation, the design, the making. It's the slowest work in the shop and deliberately so: the piece that's photographed most is the one she obsesses over most.
