The service

Florals that do event work

Event flowers have a job: pull the room together, survive five hours of people knocking them, and look right in the background of every photo. That is a different discipline to a gift bouquet: scale, mechanics and timing matter as much as the stems themselves.

Mags runs the event side: ex-set designer, which shows. She plans installs like productions: load-in order, focal lines, what the camera sees. Then Dave's van delivers and the two of them build it on site while you deal with the other forty things.

Event service includes
  • Site visit and plan before quoting
  • Load-in, setup and strike-down
  • Vessel hire included in most quotes
  • Wet-weather / wind contingencies for outdoors

Who makes it

Mags runs the installs

Event work is Mags' home turf: years of set design before flowers means she thinks in sightlines and load-in schedules, not just stem lists. If your install needs to be camera-ready by 17:00, she works backwards from 17:00.

Ren supports on stem choice and palette. Between them the event record is 140 jobs without a late install.

Questions

Event questions

Anything we missed? Send it over. A florist answers, not a bot.

Four to eight weeks is comfortable for most events, more for installs. Small table-only jobs can sometimes squeeze into two: ask, the honest answer is free.

Yes: send the brand colours or theme reference. We translate them into stems that exist, which sometimes means a shade-adjacent version rather than dyed flowers.

Included in most quotes: we own a decent stock of compotes, cylinders and urns. Strike-down covers collection, so nothing sits on your venue bill.

Your call: guests can take centres (we will say so on the quote), we can drop them to a hospice or rest home, or they come back to the studio for compost. Most organisers pick the hospice option.

Give the room a focal point.

Send the date, venue and rough budget through the form. Mags replies with the site-visit plan. Or ring +64 7 578 3264.
